Happy Chinese New Year!

Lots of things happened recently.

Happy birthday to Shannon and Jolene (24 Janurary), as well as to Lau JJ (26 Janurary).

Went out to celebrate Shannon's birthday on both 23th and 24th January. Bought a new "turtle" bag for him; its black in colour, and yes its a "guai kia" bag. We went playing pool at the CSC with him as well. It was rather enjoyable to celebrate a friend's birthday, and too bad we didn't the red Armadillo bag for him =/

Chinese New Year Eve yesterday. Had two great reunion dinners, one on 24th and one on 25th (CNY Eve). Went visiting relatives today, and I received a great deal of Angbaos. Haha.

And YES I finally ended my work at Popular. After spending around 2 months of my time working at the place, I finally decided to resign on 14th January 2009. The experience overall was quite enjoyable (torturous), with the hell kind of work load being thrown to me everyday. And now I'm probably helping out my father with some of his work, meaning slacker job with better pay xD.
























Today I went to help out my dad with some of his work, first thing we did was to go visit someone else's bungalow, and next up was to go do some servicing at a office.
The picture above was taken in the office. Its located at the top floor of a building, 7th floor if I'm not wrong, and the office seriously feels more like a clubhouse to me. There's a bloody luxurious pantry, a god damm big garden and sports facilities. The most absurd thing which I find there is actually the Air-Cons installed in the boss's room. There's actually 2 Air-Cons installed in that room. Each 48000 Power. Whereby a 48000 Power Air-Con is usually used for a small meeting/convention room instead of a office room. And hence the room is cold-like-crazy. That boss has too much money to spend, as I heard.

Got my results like few days ago, and I still can't believe I got a A1 for my English. Before taking the O's my English was like only B4? And my compo always sucked no matter how I tried writing. A1? Thank God.

And hence I'll probably go to National Junior College (NJC). After all, its something which I've long aimed for since Secondary 2.

The bummer was my physics. Ah well, I didn't read much on Electromagnetic Waves, and the whole of Paper 2 actually went into focus for that chapter. Where not even one question on Electricity and Magnetism came out (Chapter 16 - 22), which I studied hard on.

Watched Ponyo yesterday with Lau, Jeremy, Ming Ruey and Thwin Thoo. Overall the movie was great, and the hand drawn animation is simply awesome. I'll rate if a 9/10. Lets hope it isn't the last of Hayao Miyazaki's work shall we?

Recently decided to quit Luna Online, since the game doesn't have much which interests me, and I don't really have the time to grind mmorpgs.

Nothing much happened with my work recently, all I can say that it's getting slack-ier and slack-ier.

Oh well, guess my new hard disk would allow me to download and watch even MORE anime. I'll probably be kept busy with the anime which I'm going to watch.

Ah well, been 2 days since I've done some blogging. For this post I'll be going into one of the recent anime which I watched, its called White Album. White Album is considered a Romance anime, and since True Tears and Macross Frontier has ended, I guess this would fill up that vacant slot for my schedule.











































I found the opening and ending quite ok, as for the song, I personally would prefer the ED as compared to the OP.

The story itself was about a college student named Fujii Touya who is in a relationship with a girl named Morikawa Yuki. The problem is that Morikawa Yuki is a aspiring and rather famous idol, resulting in both of them to have little time to spend with one another. The plot itself was rather fine by me, but the story went on rather slow for this episode.

I'm rather pleased that the person who made this anime used screen-on text to show Touya's thoughts instead of some inner speech thing. It makes the show alot more enjoyable, by visually showing us what hes thinking while playing some background music, though I find it rather confusing for first time viewers like me, where suddenly I can't seem to hear Touya speaking, and all I could hear was the BGM. I even turned on the volume to check if hes speaking really soft or something. Ah wells, things have pros and cons.

2/4 chalet was fantastic. It was rather enjoyable, and I must say I'm pleased with most of the things, with the exception of the food, which was rather disappointing.

Happy New Year People!

And another new year has come once again. Time for us to move along into the next chapters of our life.

I went for a party at Rey's yesterday. Food was awesome. There were a large amount and variety of dishes which were simply delicious, but somehow what lacked in yesterday's party would probably be fun.

We watched Transformer on HBO, and it was simply 'too' boring for me. I had already watched that movie for like, 5 or 6 times? But nevertheless I watched the whole movie along with the others.

As we were watching, Rey brought out the fruit wine which I had bought. 4% alcohol Peach flavoured fruit wine. And as we drank he kept complaining about the low alcohol content >.> It's not like I don't want to drink something with a higher alcohol content, but I rather have a bottle of wine which everyone would drink and enjoy instead of another bottle of wine which only a few of us would savor.

And so... he went to open another bottle of wine. Red wine this time. 14% alcohol, 10% more than mine he says. I simply told him that it would be bitter, he drank one mouthful and went - Eww, bitter..

Played basketball at the non-lights-on basketball court at around 9.30pm. This went on for around 1 whole hour, and we returned to his house at around 10.30pm. Great night it was, at least I enjoyed myself. Wonder how the others felt, hmm..

Picked up my Seagate 7200rpm 32MB 500GB Hard Disk Drive 2 days ago, along with my Norton Internet Security 2009. And crap I forget to buy the red wire which costs 5 bucks. Guess installing it would have to wait till around next week.

Anyone wanna watch Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea? Its a movie with a plot centered on a 'fish girl'/mermaid. One of the last piece of work done by famed anime filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki. The song is so cute ~.~
