i am @ Youth.SG
Being a youth is about being more matured and understanding in life. A youth should look forward into his/her future and stop being stranded by the past. A Memory is just a memory. Memories are meant to be remembered, but never ever could anyone go back in time, and therefore youths should have a new perspective in life about how life is going about and to preserve and reuse old ideas.
A youth is like a early afternoon. Its the start of the golden period of one's life, and in my opinion, the golden period exactly starts from the age of a youth, to around the age of 35. This is as youths are commonly being known as young adults, which means they have similar characteristics as well as thoughts of an adult.
Being a youth is about being innovative and creative.
For example,
-Finding new ways of getting away from handing in homework.
-Annoying the teacher to attract attention while working hard in the background in order to thrive in the studying industry.
-How to earn money from classmates(Small Markets)
-Get higher marks in exams by having good relationship with the teachers.(A good way is to find out more about the background of the teacher)
Even things we do in the class are creative.
-Pen Spinning while listening to the boring talks as well as learning tricks from classmates.(During lessons)
-Act innocent to a teacher for a getaway.
-Making the lessons more interesting by adding in unnecessary opinions.
Being a youth is also about being more understanding and helpful.
-Carry books for teachers.
-Helping friends, be more sociable with the opposite sex.
-Learn to be compassionate for our juniors.
Being a youth is to dream and live forward to our future.Like getting used to our daily enviroment, by interacting more with Singlish, learning our own language(Short forms) and to have a aim and be hopeful. Confidence is also part of a youth, as youths are mostly courages and daring, in order to try out new things and venture.
Throughout this post, i feel that posting a I Am @Youth.SG post is rather interesting. I am being forced. Overall i felt that this was worth the effort.
